About Shane Brady

Shane Brady is a full-time screenwriter based in Brisbane. He has three feature screenplays under option in Australia and abroad: the comedy horror Croak (aka Bufo), developed with Screen Queensland support; the Bushranger adaptation Thunderbolt & Me; and the WWI football drama The First Division. Croak was shortlisted for the 2016 John Hinde award for science fiction and was an INSITE award finalist in 2014. Thunderbolt & Me was an INSITE finalist in 2015. Shane began his writing career in journalism and documentaries, winning state, national and international awards. He recently completed his eighth feature screenplay and has several TV series concepts in development.
