About Ed Blythe

Ed Blythe is an Emmy award winning writer/director, with a strong background as a cinematographer and producer.

His narrative work has screened at Sundance, NYFF, Clermont-Ferrand, Aspen, and the Hamptons amongst many other festivals.

His screenwriting collaborations with James Windeler have placed in the finals of the Nicholl Fellowship and the Final Draft Big Break. Their most recent screenplay has been nominated by the Australian Writer’s Guild for the prestigious Monte Miller Award.

Commercial cinematography clients include AT&T, Bond No 9, Redken and Vogue.

Ed earned his MFA in Film at Columbia University. He also holds a BA in Arts/Law from the University of Melbourne.

He is currently producing virtual reality content for Tastemade in California. Pugilist was co-written with James Windeler.
