Jack is a writer, director, and actor who started his career hosting popular kid’s TV shows Totally Wild (Ch. 10), and Saturday Disney (7 Network). A graduate of AFTRS (Grad Cert – Directing), and Charles Sturt University (B. Arts – Broadcast Journalism), his comedic short film The Virgin was selected to screen and tour Australia in Flickerfest 2017, and The Donation was nominated for Best Comedy Short at Sydney Comedy Festival 2015.
Jack has field produced and written for TV programs Better Homes & Gardens, Play School, Hoot Hoot Go!, and ABC ME as well as directed multiplatform projects for Sydney Opera House, Google Creative Labs, and Bell Shakespeare. On screen, he can currently be seen hosting Sydney Weekender (7 Network), and Wildlife Program A.C.E. (Discovery Channel). His feature documentary Kings of Baxter, which follows Bell Shakespeare’s drama program in juvenile detention centres, will air on Foxtel Arts in 2017, and Jack is also honoured to collaborate with Princess Pictures through their Comedy Incubator Program (2016/17) on his sitcom The Turner Trio.
