Synopsis

An injury forces principal dancer Jack, from New York to suburban Croydon, recuperating with his estranged brother. When he is exposed to the indignity of ‘dance therapy’, Jack steps up, teaching a class of hostile, orphan boys, ballet. It Jack’s chance to be the guy he needed growing up.

About Beth King

Beth is a graduate of RMIT screenwriting and recipient of Catapult (Film Victoria) and Hot Shots (Screen Australia) funding. Her 2015 short film, Goodnight Sweetheart, was selected for festivals including MIFF, St Kilda and FlickerFest. Beth is currently completing a Film Victoria funded Writers’ Placement on Nowhere Boys with Matchbox Pictures. Beth is drawn to character driven stories and has a fascination with the psychology of behaviour, particularly in adolescents.
