Peter Mattessi writes television drama. In the UK, he writes for EastEnders and Holby City, was Senior Script Editor at EastEnders for many years, and was Script Producer for EastEnders’ teen-based spinoff, EastEnders: E20. In Australia he currently writes for Neighbours, and writes/consults on The Heights, and has written children’s shows Worst Year Of My Life Again and Specky Magee. He has won a Best Serial AWGIE in Australia and been nominated a further three times, and has won a Writers’ Guild of Great Britain Award for Best Long Running Drama. He has a number of original projects in development in both Australia and the UK.
