Adam Scullin

Adam Scullin is a writer and director with a Master of Screenwriting from the Victorian College of the Arts, as well as a Bachelor of Film and TV from Swinburne University.
Adam’s TV pilot The Borders was shortlisted and Highly Commended in the AWG’s 2024 John Hinde Award, while his short stories have appeared in the Verandah Literary Journal and the Geelong Writers’ Anthology.

His graduate short film Bloodwater had its world premiere at Melbourne’s Monster Fest, before screening in Ohio’s HorrorHound Film Festival and the 75th Edition of Barcelona’s iconic Molins de Roi Horror Film Festival. 

Hailing from Melbourne’s working-class west, Adam is obsessed with the Brisbane Lions, Bruce Springteen’s Jungleland, and Michael Mann’s 1986 masterpiece Manhunter.
