Alexandra Adornetto is an Australian actress and screen-writer with a background in Young Adult literature.

She began her writing career at age 13 when her first novel The Shadow Thief was picked from the Harper Collins slush-pile. It became the first book in a children’s trilogy entitled The Strangest Adventures which pays homage to J.M Barrie, Roald Dahl and Enid Blyton. This was followed by The Halo Trilogy which marked Alexandra’s US debut. Halo and it’s sequel Hades both hit the NYT best-seller list a week after publication and have since been translated into over twenty five languages. Alexandra is now focusing her energies on writing for film and television. Sunny & The King is her first attempt at adapting a story for the big screen.
