Alexia Attwood is a screenwriter, journalist and news producer.
She has worked all over the country as a reporter for the ABC so has a solid appreciation for different types of Australian audiences and stories. It’s also given her a healthy appreciation for a deadline and attention to detail. While she’ll dive into any genre, she’s most passionate about telling female-driven dramedies, political satires and political thrillers.
She was trained as a notetaker and script coordinator through the First Break NSW program.
She has a Masters in Screenwriting from the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS). She has experience as a writers’ room notetaker and coverage report writer for multiple Australian production companies and independent producers. She also has Bachelors in law and journalism from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS).
