Amanda Bridgeman is an award-winning versatile writer who loves creating both original stories and those for other IPs.
Amanda holds a BA in Communication Studies from Murdoch University, Perth (Film/TV/Creative Writing), and has dabbled in film and tv ‘extra’ work in both Perth and London.
She was a finalist in the AACTA Regional Landscapes in Partnership with Screenworks Pitch (2020), and the Universal AU/Screenwest Fast Pitch competition (2019) for her feature film The Artisan (comedy/drama).
Amanda is also a published novelist who is a Scribe Award Winner (International Association of Media Tie-In Writers), a two-time Tin Duck Award winner (Western Australian Science Fiction Foundation), and an Aurealis and Ditmar Award finalist (Australian speculative fiction awards). Her novels include the sci-fi crime thriller Salvation series (The Subjugate and The Sensation), which is being developed for TV by Aquarius Films (AUS) and Anonymous Content (US), and recently received development funding from Screen Australia.
Amanda wrote the Scribe Award winning procedural thriller, Pandemic: Patient Zero, which is the first novel set in the award-winning Pandemic tabletop board game universe, where her brief was to channel TV shows like NCIS and CSI.She also writes for Marvel in their X-Men universe and has written for Black Library in their Warhammer 40k universe.
On top of this, Amanda has vast experience in Administration and Office Management, which means she is highly organised, types fast, and has vast experience in minute-taking.
