Ann Petrou is a first-generation Cypriot Australian screenwriter with multiple writing projects on the boil, and recently completed two Notetaking and Script Coordinator Workshops with Catherine Kelleher and Alli Parker.
Ann is an experienced administrative and project coordinator with exceptional Minute and note taking skills. She is well organised with great attention to detail and is ready to bring these skills to a Writer’s Room. She’s excited about the learning opportunity to work alongside creatives shaping the TV landscape and contribute to their vision and story building process. Ann co-wrote The Life and Music of Stevie Wright & The Easybeats which toured nationally and featured on Australian Story and creates content under the moniker, Noisy Carriage Productions where she writes, performs, and edits short comedy sketches for her YouTube Channel. Her development slate includes two comedy pilots, a TV Drama, short film, and Web Series, all of which bring a Cypriot/ Australian voice and perspective whilst incorporating her rich cultural background and noisy Mediterranean family.
