Ella Fraser

Ella began in front of the camera as an actor but realised this was not where her heart (or face) belonged, but instead behind it crafting screen stories.

Ella is an emerging screen writer, with a passion for writing and storytelling.

Ella is a dynamic, talented and collaborative screen creative with training and experience in both screen production and performance, passionate about contributing to the creation of distinct, character-driven screen content; and learning from experienced, professional teams.

Ella has recently completed the First Break Note Takers Course, learning about the art of notetaking, script coordinating and the ins and outs of the industry. Ella’s storybrain makes her a great contribution to the writers room.

She wrote, directed and edited a short film, “Amour Perdu”. She has recently completed her Bachelor of Communications in Media Arts and Screen Production at UTS, Sydney.

She has written more short films for her degree which were well received and is currently pursuing production plans for them.

Also, as part of her degree, she gained on set experience, particularly as cinematographer and production designer, collaborating with other writers on original scripts.

Ella also has screen narrative fiction experience creating impressive pitch decks and look books for television series, for companies such as Jonathan M Shiff Productions, Working Title Productions, Feisty Dame Productions, Sandpiper Entertainment and Cornerstone Pictures.
