Farhad Zaiwala is a Melbourne based Actor and Writer who loves nothing more than to dive head-first into the stories he creates and the characters he portrays.
His play Who Me!!! Why Not??? was produced by Platform Youth Theatre Company and his first short film Promise got selected in the Aurora Short Film Festival. He has produced numerous short films for graduating VCA directing students that have screened across multiple local and international film festivals.
His first full length play for a better life is currently a finalist for The Shane & Cathryn Brenan Prize for Playwriting and the treatment of his second feature film Choices We Make enabled him to attend SBS and VicScreen’s Originate Writers Seminar in 2021.
Having been selected for the AWG’s inaugural First Break program, he is excited to attend the sessions and looks forward to learning from industry luminaries.
