James Adams is a student writer and director in his final year of a Bachelor of Media Arts.
Going straight from high school into engineering, James knew his true passion was for filmmaking and transferred courses. Now he’s created several short films including one for the 48-hour film project. At the end of 2019, he had the opportunity to intern as a second camera assistant for a children’s TV show filmed in Singapore. He was recently one of a small selection of final year students accepted into an internship opportunity with an South Australia based production company. After completing the AWG Note-takers’ workshop he is feeling confident and is keen to utilise his creativity and diligence for any opportunities in pre-production and/or working on set.
