Jasmin Forbes-Watson has extensive experience in theatre, film production, casting, advertising and performance, which has informed her writing across TV and her award-winning short films. Jasmin is a NIDA graduate, a past Sydney Theatre Company Director’s Affiliate, and multiple Tropfest winner. She has created/developed tv series with John Edwards/Southern Star, ABC TV, Fremantle and Grundys. She has been encouraged with funding from CreateNSW, Screen Australia and Dungog Film Festival. As a writer, director and choreographer, she has devised shows for Melbourne International Festival of The Arts, NIDA Theatre and The Ensemble Theatre. Her qualifications as a Psychotherapist inspire her to write nuanced, subversive projects exploring what makes humans tick.
