Jessica Hutchinson

Jessica Hutchinson is an actor, writer, director and producer based in Melbourne, Australia.

She is currently in post-production on Strings Attached, an international series filmed remotely in 8 countries and 6 languages. She is developing a slate of feature films and series that aim to elevate underrepresented voices. Jessica is passionate about challenging the status quo through her work.

Beyond film and television, Jessica is also experienced in motion capture performance and video game voiceover, her work featuring in Dead Static Drive and Puzzle Quest 3.

In 2019 Jessica received a scholarship to train under Sue Maslin (Executive Producer, The Dressmaker, Japanese Story) and Andrea Buck (Executive Producer, The Jammed) at the Compton School’s Creative Leadership program. In 2021 Jess founded a filmmaking group centred on nurturing and advocating for diverse filmmakers.

Jessica recently graduated from the First Break Victoria program and is an active member of WIFT (Victoria and Australia) and the Screen Vixens Victorian chapter.
