Jessica Paine is an experienced screenwriter and script editor.
She currently has a project optioned with Stampede Ventures and Kojo and is part of the writing team working on a YA project for Jungle Entertainment. Jess trained on shows such as Wonderland and Cleverman and has since performed every conceivable role in a story room – working her way up from trainee through to associate story producer and story editor. Having spent 2017 working in the UK on long-running British icon Emmerdale, she has also written for Neighbours and The Heights. She was one of five screenwriters chosen for the inaugural Charlie’s Lab Pilot Program (run by Australians in Film, Scripted Ink and the AWG), and was a recipient of the In Dreams Fellowship.
