Jonathon Vozzo is an emerging Adelaide writer. Having started out in community based media programs such as Radio Adelaide and Adelaide’s Channel 44 he has produced segments for the nationally syndicated radio program The Wire as well as producing and hosting a late night program Fantastic Beats and Where to Find Them.
After graduating from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Media, majoring in journalism, he went on to acquire a diploma and advanced diploma is screen media from MAPS Film School. Over the course of two years he wrote and directed five short films and received a number of credits across several filmmaking departments, having worked on web series, shorts and feature films. Drawing on his knowledge of media theory and inspired by the work of Don DeLilo, David Foster Wallace and Charlie Kaufman he enjoys strange, surreal and absurd comedy in which it’s impossible to tell when reality ends and movies begin.
