Julia Light is an emerging female autistic writer with a passion for crafting stories involving self-defining moments, disability, mental health, and the female experience.
She completed her studies in Screen and Media at MAPS Film School in 2017. In 2018, she began her career in film, working for the Mercury CX (formerly known as the Media Resource Centre) by assisting in the coordination of production initiatives and industry events, including the South Australian Screen Awards (SASA), Helium, Clip It, and the Screenmakers Conference & Lab.
