Kit Brookman is a playwright, director and screenwriter. His work for theatre includes new plays commissioned by mainstage theatre companies as well as projects created in collaboration with independent ensembles. Recent work for the theatre includes Mountain (with André Jewson), The Stones, and Whalesong. He wrote an episode of the recently released second season of the ABC/Amazon series Troppo and has original screen projects in development in the UK and Australia. Kit has been an Associate Playwright at Belvoir St Theatre and a resident artist at Griffin Theatre Company. Awards include the Rodney Seaborn Award and the Philip Parsons Young Playwrights’ Fellowship.
