Lucie is an emerging screenwriter based in Naarm/Melbourne looking to gain valuable experience working in note-taking and script coordination roles.
After working in corporate roles for 9 years (that’s 90 in human years), Lucie decided to start satirising the modern workplace in her screenplays, instead of just to her beleaguered colleagues.
Having produced documentaries on everyone from AFL stars to medical entrepreneurs, Lucie has gained valuable insight into real people, which helps inform her characters and stories. Managing a demanding full-time job alongside her master’s degree, film crew work, and sketch training demonstrates her relentless work ethic and passion for the craft of screenwriting: the kind of productive neurosis every writers’ room needs.
Fresh out of the AWG’s First Break program and a BBC Writers’ Room observation opportunity, Lucie is keen to prove her talents and commitment to go above-and-beyond with note-taker, script coordination, and script assistant roles. She brings with her a strong work ethic, sense of humour, and warm personality.
