Mads McRae is a screenwriter from country Australia.
She graduated from the VCA in 2019 with a degree in screenwriting and is currently taking part in the Channel4 Drama 4Screenwriting programme. She is drawn to exploring big themes, character driven narratives, richly drawn worlds, and is quite obviously, a TV tragic. In 2025, Mads and her dramatic pilot Grave’s End were shortlisted for the AWG’s Emerging Writers’ Awards.
