Maggie Gale is a third year Bachelor of Fine Arts Creative Writing student at QUT.
After high school, she studied acting at the New York Film Academy (Gold Coast) where she developed a love for screen and playwriting. It was there that she wrote her first short film, It’s Not On, as well as many of her own scenes and monologues. She then undertook the first year of a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Screenwriting) at the Victorian College of the Arts where she completed her screenplay, Everyone’s Licking Cane Toads. She is currently working on a feature length sports comedy, Non-Contact Sport and a web-series, Keeping It Casual.
