Matthew Bon is a Melbourne-based writer, script editor and note-taker.
Matt began his writing career as a script coordinator on drama serial Neighbours and has since gone on to work on hundreds of episodes of the show as a writer, script editor and storyliner. He has since worked in writers’ rooms on projects for production companies such as Fremantle Australia, Matchbox Pictures, CJZ and more. He is a diligent note-taker, determined to provide all participants with detailed, precise and well-organised notes that helps make their lives – and the life of the project – easier.
Matt comes to writing having spent eight years as a secondary school Arts teacher. He is a member of the Victorian AWG committee and has recently received development support from the ABC’s Fresh Start Fund for an original short-form series.
