Rebecca Parker

Rebecca Parker is a writer, director and cinematographer who has worked in the Film and TV industry for over 15 years.  She has a Masters in Directing from the Australian Film, Television and Radio School and is the recipient of a British Council Award, the Spirit of Youth Film Award and the European Union Film Award for her body of work.  Her short films have screened in over 70 international film festivals and won multiple awards, with her most recent documentary, Mamirnikuwi, screening at the Sydney Film Festival and nominated for the Sustainable Futures Award. Rebecca has also had a minor career as a media advisor in federal politics and continues to work as a photojournalist for a number of federal politicians and news agencies. Rebecca is a Co-Director of the production company, Goddess, and is currently developing a slate of film and television projects set in the Northern Territory.
