Rochelle Wiltshire

Rochelle is an emerging screenwriter and MBA qualified psychologist based in the hills of Perth, Western Australia.

Ever since she was a child, Rochelle has had a passion for writing books, TV shows and movies, along with a desire to succeed in whatever she sets her mind to. Rochelle is always continuing to learn and engage in new experiences and likes to write in a broad variety of genres and mediums for both children and adults. Previously a finalist in the ScreenWest West Coast Kids initiative, having received two development contracts for her selected project, WestSide Central (Checkout). Rochelle’s children’s factual entertainment show, Wild Girls, was also optioned by the ABC network.

She has participated in a number of screenwriting courses, conferences, and initiatives to further develop her writing craft, including prior selection for ScreenWest’s Tele-Navigator Program and selection for the Feature Film Boot Camp through the Australian Directors’ Guild. This initiative provided invaluable insights into the crafting of the first draft of a feature length screenplay within a 12-week period.  Rochelle is currently working on the second draft of the product of that initiative, drama screenplay, Found. Rochelle has recently completed her first feature length screenplay, One Shot, following her first short film production that she co-wrote and produced for TropfestCash Out.  Rochelle has also obtained observational writers’ room/table read and production experience with local Perth TV productions and Waabiny Time.
