Sarah comes to the film industry after extensive experience working as a theatre-maker and community artist. She’s collaborated with juvenile justice centres, homeless services, regional communities, refugees and mental health organisations. Since moving into film and television, she’s worked as a script editor, script coordinator, researcher and writers’ assistant at some of Australia’s top production companies. She was most recently Script Editor on Netflix’s Heartbreak High. Collaborating with writer / director Carl Firth, Sarah and Carl’s scripts have been optioned by LA-based production companies and short-listed for numerous awards including the Sundance Episodic Lab and the Australian Writers’ Guild John Hinde and Monte Miller Awards.
