Sarah Smith is one of Australia’s most experienced and in-demand drama writers and producers. She has written, script produced and produced some of Australia’s most loved and highest rating television drama.

Sarah was executive producer, co-creator and writer of the 8 part, one-hour drama series Bite Club. Her credits also include the mini-series, House of Bond, and the telemovie The Killing Field, which led to the spin-off mini-series Winter.

Sarah co-created, produced and wrote the 13-part, one-hour drama series Wild Boys as well as Rescue Special Ops, which continued for 3 seasons and won a Gold Medal at The New York Festivals.

She co-wrote and produced the telemovie Dripping in Chocolate for BBC Worldwide. Other writing credits include, Wanted, The Alice, All Saints, McLeod’s Daughters, Canal Road, Sea Patrol, Wonderland, and Love Child.

Sarah co-wrote the psychological feature Nerve and is co-writer and producer of the thriller The Girl Beneath, and co-writer of Black Water: Abyss, both currently in pre-production.

In 2002 Sarah won an AWGIE in for her AFC-funded short film Calling Gerry Molloy.
