Senie Priti

Senie Priti is a writer, director and producer from regional Victoria whose work explores flawed female characters, complex family dynamics, and the quiet tensions of small-town life.

Her stories draw on social realism and dark humour to examine power, survival, and the emotional undercurrents that shape how people live and relate.

She was shortlisted for the 2025 Australian Writers’ Guild Emerging Writers Awards for her short script Hussk, and is an alum of the AFTRS x VicScreen Talent Camp. Her debut short Alba, which she wrote and directed, received an Honourable Mention for Most Outstanding Emerging Female Director at Flickerfest, and was nominated for Best Actor and Best Young Actor at the St Kilda Film Festival.

Senie also co-wrote Shreds of Rainbows, a one-take short shot by Steadicam operator Joel San Juan (Shortcomings, Hunters), and works in production across commercial, branded, and independent film projects. Her most recent narrative project is the feature Westgate, which is set to premiere later in 2025.
