Stephanie Crowe

Stephanie is a writer, a performer and a production designer.

She completed her Master of Screenwriting at VCA in 2018 which began her collaboration with frequent co-creator Fabian Lapham. As a writer she has a particular interest in children’s television and weird comedies with big hearts. After honing performance skills at the Improv Conspiracy Theatre and Howard Fine Acting Studio she performed in multiple sell-out festival seasons with comedy shows Soothplayers and Completely Improvised Potter. In 2014 she wrote and then performed the interactive short play Birthday Party over 127 times at La Mama Courthouse.

As a designer, she has worked on Melbourne Webfest-selected web series Undergarment Odysseys, the short film BAE, and immersive theatre event The Lizard is Present, as well as commercial projects for a variety of clients. In 2020 she was mentored by Academy Award winning designer Colin Gibson through Women in Film and Television’s MentorHer program. She also has a breadth of art department experience on various productions, including the Netflix original Clickbait.
