Tahlia Norrish

Tahlia Norrish is an actor and writer from Perth, Western Australia.

After breaking out as ‘Tilly’ in the award-winning drama, The Owl, Tahlia moved to the UK to train at The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (Distinction, Acting & Musical Theatre) and Rose Bruford College (First Class Hons, Acting). Since graduating, she’s been gleefully traversing stages, screens, and voice-over booths.

Tahlia has also worked for several years as a writer for prominent arts and entertainment publications, such as Backstage, The Stage, Spotlight, ScreenHub, and The Actor’s Dojo.

Recently, she completed development (supported by Screenwest) on her first narrative piece, I’d Rather Eat Cake. Based on her own lived experience, the 6 x 10-minute web series explores identity and self-acceptance with equally delightful and painful honesty.

Tahlia holds dual Australian/British citizenship with a London base, and can (and frequently does) travel domestically and internationally for work.
