Tai is an actor and screenwriter with a professional acting experience spanning the past two decades. Over the last 25 years, he studied acting, screenwriting and has performed in over 40 theatrical productions. Some of his performances were part of the Melbourne and Sydney comedy festivals, while others played to sell out seasons at the Belvoir St Theatre.
Some of his local credits are All Saints, Police Rescue, Tricky Business and Big Sky, while his U.S. production credits include Jag, Mission Impossible and Farscape.
Tai gains insights into the inner workings of his characters by involving his acting experience in his writing process. He’s written a number of award winning plays, short films, comedy sketches and web-series. One of the pilots he co-wrote, titled Spies Girls, was nominated for the Monte Miller Award and gave him an invitation to join the Australian Writer’s Guild Pathways Program.
