Ted Janet is an award-winning screenwriter and media producer. Ted has written approximately two thousand minutes of produced video including children’s television, documentaries, and commercial and educational content.
In 2019 Ted was commissioned by Studio Bento to write the treatment for The Fun of Fear, an interactive documentary developed in partnership with Film Victoria. His own series concept, Back in the Bottle, was optioned by Studio Bento and is currently in development.
Previously, Ted wrote for the Network Ten series Jar Dwellers and the pop culture series Save Point.
Ted’s comic book, Balaclava Junction, a collection of true stories from Melbourne’s Jewish community, was published in 2015.
Ted has completed screenwriting and film programs at the University of Southern California, AFTRS and RMIT. Today, he works as an in-house writer at Creativa Videos and continues to develop drama projects for broad audiences.
