Therese Chen is a Chinese-Australian filmmaker who has a Certificate IV in Screen and Media and a Diploma of Visual Arts from the Production Art Department. She began editing various works ranging from web series, and action comedies to documentary series, and from developing her skills in the film industry, grew Silver Harvest, a community of filmmakers with a passion for the Asian action genre. She has now expanded her skill set to producing and screenwriting. Most recently, she was attached to the award-winning feature film Echo 8 (2022) as an associate producer and has recently written and directed a comedy short Centrestage! (2021), which was funded through the CyberConnect program. She is keen to contribute to the storytelling process and the film industry in Australia, as well as empowering others to create their own.
