Tom is a screenwriter and filmmaker based in Melbourne/Naarm.
In 2022, Tom won the John Hinde Award for Science Fiction for his dystopic thriller script, Kin. While he loves many types of screen stories, his personal work favours tight genre storytelling, relatable absurdity and atmospheric horror.
Selected for VicScreen’s Key Talent Register, Tom has worked as a note-taker in writers’ rooms for Tony Ayres Productions (TAP), Matchbox, Fremantle and 2Jons.
Balancing production experience with his own projects, Tom was chosen for a TV/Online Development Lab through VicScreen’s Emerging Practitioner Scheme.
Among his personal slate of features and TV Pilots, Tom is developing a millennial horror feature about status anxiety.
