Tony Radevski

Tony is an award-winning writer and director who works across drama, animation and documentary.

He was selected for Berlinale Talents, an initiative of the Berlin International Film Festival. His project, Risen, was also selected for development in the Berlinale Talents’ Short Film Station.

Risen received Screen Australia funding to produce a proof-of-concept film and early development for a TV series. The film was invited to screen at the Slamdance Film Festival / ArcLight Cinemas Hollywood LA showcase “EMERGENCE: A Discovery of New Filmmakers”. It won Best Sci-Fi film at the Oscar and BAFTA accredited L.A. Shorts International Film Festival 2021. It was also nominated for three awards at the St Kilda Film Festival 2022, including Best Director, Best Screenplay and Best Young Actor.

Tony’s other work includes Pilè (ATOM Award winner), Bogan Moths (Melbourne International Animation Festival), Hole (Iris Prize nominee), Ephemeral (Dendy Awards winner) and The Prodigal Son (IF Award winner).

He is currently developing feature and series projects, including RIP Baba, Blood Red Town, Closet and Rooted.
